August 2008 Perhaps you've noticed the site redesign for the webstore. If you didn't, you're probably new here, so welcome! For those returning, hopefully everything operates quite similarly to how it did in the past. The design is changed to accommodate an upgraded backend to the store functions that, among other changes, allow us to more accurately calculate shipping costs. This should sometimes help to save a few dollars for the customer.

If anything is not operating as you expect it should, please let us know so that we can troubleshoot the problem and get this store working as smoothly as it should.

July 2008We've scored some coffees quite well over at Coffee Review this year, earning the above, excellent scores for our Kenya peaberry Ruera Estate, Ethiopia Korate Sidamo, and Costa Rica La Magnolia respectively. We're excited to see these high scores from Ken Davids, as they reflect our own assessments of these fine coffees. Please check them out!

Please be advised that, while we roast Monday through Thursday, we do not roast every coffee every day. As such, in our effort to ship out only the freshest coffee to you there may sometimes be a substantial delay as we wait for the next day that we roast a given coffee. We apologize for any inconvenience, it is simply the nature of running as small an operation as ours is, presently, though we appreciate your support in helping it to expand!

Regarding payment: We happily accept payment by most major credit cards. Your card will be processed through Paypal. However, there's no need to have a Paypal account, nor need you sign up for a new one. At checkout, when you've been directed to Paypal's secure servers, simply choose your preferred method of making a payment. Alternatively and rather obviously, you can pay using a Paypal account, which we find a reliable and convenient service. Either way, we appreciate your business.
